With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Franklin Ritchie of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Franklin Ritchie and Lucille Heedick Ritchie; and his brothers, Kenneth Ritchie, Carroll Ritchie and Harry Ritchie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reep Ritchie; his children, Chris Ritchie (Angie) of Lincolnton, Robin Hartsoe (Jerry) of Lincolnton and Vickie Gantt (Bob) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Stacy Bivens (Chris), Anna Towery (Travis), Alisha Shires (Satcho), Hannah Saine (Taylor), Faith Ritchie and Michael Ritchie (Emilee); and his great grandchildren, Blakely Ritchie, Laken Ritchie, Madilyn Bivens, Chloe Bivens, Tristan Towery, Alexis Shires and Channing Shires.
