She was predeceased by: her father Julius Franklin Shuford; and her siblings, William Shuford, Margaret Davis, Betty Heafner, Paul Shuford, Carl Shuford, Elsie Green, Ralph Shuford, Lee Shuford and Nellie Shuford.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Weightsel Lanier; her daughter Darlene Lanier Edge (Ronnie) of Iron Station; her brother Tom Shuford of Mt. Holly; and also Lauren Shuford.
