She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed C. Hager and Lucy Edwards Hager; her husband John Henry Howie; her sons, Carroll Howie and Randy Howie; and her siblings, Edward Hager, Erson Hager, Glenn Hager, Morris Hager, Janie Wilson, Velma Nixon, Hattie Anne Cobb and Norrie Merritt.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Lee Howie (Kathy) of Lowesville; her daughters-in-law, Amy Howie and Tess Howie; her grandchildren, Kelly Nodine (Dave), Kasey Tanner (Wesley), Marc Howie (Jane) and Chris Howie (Evie); her great grandchildren, Madison Nodine, Davis Nodine, Kylan Tanner, Miller Tanner, Isabella Thompson, Elisa Sprouse (Dennis), Dakota Gibson (Evan), Elana Howie and Dylan Combes (Heather); and her great great grandchildren, Carson Combes, Adna Sprouse, Hank Sprouse, Emory Sprouse, Wesleigh Gibson, Callum Gibson and Camdyn Gibson.
