It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Nicholas Lewis Jr. (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Nicholas Lewis, Sr.; his son James Nicholas Lewis, III; and his sister Charlotte Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Marla Davis Lewis; his children, Julia Hoover (Dennie) of Lincolnton, Emily Evans (Frank) of Lincolnton and Matthew Lewis (Sally) of Shelby; his siblings, Linda Bradley of Kannapolis and Gary Lewis (Colleen) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jacob Hoover, Lane Hoover, Emma Grace Evans, Mattie Lewis, Miles Evans, Denli Hoover and Kate Lewis; and his great grandchild Lyla Hoover.
