It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Richard Rhyne (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Alexander Richard and Annie Lee Wilson Richard; her husband Forest Caleb Rhyne; and her sister Mabel Houser. She is survived by: her daughter Gail Hovis (Larry) of Lincolnton; her grandsons, Chad Hovis (Audrey) of Cherryville and Jeff Hovis (Rebecca) of Lincolnton; her great grandchildren, Caleb Hovis, Ayden Hovis and Cameron Hovis; and her sisters, Margaret Reep of Hickory and Wanda Avery of Crouse.
