She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Alexander Richard and Annie Lee Wilson Richard; her husband Forest Caleb Rhyne; and her sister Mabel Houser. She is survived by: her daughter Gail Hovis (Larry) of Lincolnton; her grandsons, Chad Hovis (Audrey) of Cherryville and Jeff Hovis (Rebecca) of Lincolnton; her great grandchildren, Caleb Hovis, Ayden Hovis and Cameron Hovis; and her sisters, Margaret Reep of Hickory and Wanda Avery of Crouse.
