We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2023, at the age of 76, Harold Glen Tanner (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Owensboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John C. Tanner; his siblings, Bill Tanner, Dalton Tanner, Kenneth Tanner, Ray Tanner, Elaine Tinsley, Wanda Parks, Jo Tanner and Sue Tanner; and his nieces, Jody Hanson and Sherry Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Hettie Hoover Tanner; his children, Shawn Tanner of Cornelius and Laurie Tanner Wieler (John) of Waxhaw; his grandchildren, Hannah Wieler of Charlotte, Grace Wieler of Charlotte, NC, Carley Sheek of Beaufort, Riley Tanner of Cornelius and Jack Tanner Wieler of Waxhaw; his sister-in-law Arleen Tanner of Denver; and his nephew Doug Tanner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
