He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Martin Humphries; his sons, Dwayne Humphries (Karen) of Lincolnton and Marty Humphries (Tanya) of Lincolnton; his brother Ronald Humphries of Marion; his grandchildren, Kylie Richardson (Drew), Lauren Travis (Rusty) and Cassie Goodman (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Bianca Travis, Averie Richardson, Jaxon Goodman, McCoy Travis, Beau Richardson, Kamden Goodman and Kaiden Goodman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gainsville Baptist Church (270 Gainsville Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
