He is survived by: his wife Hazel C. Alexander; his stepchildren, James Gillelan, II of Texas, Joey Gillelan, Sr. of Dallas, NC and Jaime Wright of Dallas, NC; and his brother Bob Alexander (JoAnne) of Lincolnton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
