He is survived by: his wife Judy Dodgin Smith; his children, Lisa Smith (Scott Bowman) of Bolivia, NC, Marty Smith (Cindy) of Denver, NC and Tony Smith (Katie Parker) of Lincolnton, NC; his sisters, Patricia Abernathy of Lincolnton and Martha Curry (Lee) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Kara Sprinkle (Jake), Cassie Urban, Cheyenne Cook (Justin), Chris Smith, Alexis Krieger (Andrew), Tori Holcomb (Spencer) and Kat Parker; and his great grandchildren, Keaton Cook, Vance Krieger, Jaxon Smith, Ava Krieger and Jasper Sprinkle.
