With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Edward Messick of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shuler T. Messick and Cornelia Holden Messick. He is survived by: his siblings, Victor H. Messick (Laura Bowman-Messick) of Sherrills Ford, Leah B. Messick of Sherrills Ford and Marylee Trammell of Mint Hill; and his children, Terry Eugene Messick of Granite Falls, Kim Edward Messick of Chapel Hill and Gina Messick Phillips of Hickory. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
