It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Galen Peterson of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Peterson and Cora Cooper Peterson; and his wife Carolyn Suddreth Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Duane Peterson (Teresa) of Lincolnton and Beverly Childers (Scott) of Lincolnton; and his sister Betty Leonhardt of Vale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
