He is survived by: his children, Darlene (Rickie Cook), Fred (Teresa Pitman), Bonnie Harris of Lincolnton, Mack Pitman (Terri) of Lincolnton and Scott Strickland of Dallas, NC; and his siblings, Earl "Dean" Pitman, Jr. (Sherry) of Lincolnton, Belle Beheler of Dallas, NC and Edna Mills (Buddy) of Belmont. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
