With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Delano Rice (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent A. R. Rice; his wife Brenda Gilbert Rice; and his sisters, Shirley Nantz and Helen Rice. He is survived by: his daughter Paige Rice of Lincolnton; and his sister Ina Phyllis Rice of High Shoals.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Backpack Ministry, 201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
