It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Ruth Withers Covil (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elgin J. Van Withers; her husband William Daryell Covil; her sisters, Mary Greene and Louise Henderson; and her granddaughter Julie Diane Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Covil, Kristy Covil of Lincolnton and Diane Williams of Mayodan, NC; her siblings, Charles Withers of Maiden, Glenn Withers of Ocean Isle, NC, David Withers, Glenda Henderson of Shelby and Shirley King of Maiden; and her grandchildren, Alicia and Michael. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
