We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 90, Ethel Thompson Beavers of Lincolnton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Maude Strickland Thompson; her husband Horace Beavers; and her sons, James Horace Beavers and Todd Douglas Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy B. Coggins (Darrell) of Dallas and David M. Beavers of Bessemer City; her granddaughters, Jessica D. Parker (Lonnie) of Gastonia and Holly D. Hovis of Lincolnton; her great grandchildren, Gavin P. Parker, Isaiah M. Hovis, Jaxon L. Parker, Tenley I. Hovis and Macey J. Parker; and her stepgrandson David Coggins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Service South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Hollywood Cemetery (540 N Broad St, Gastonia, NC 28052).
