She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Maude Strickland Thompson; her husband Horace Beavers; and her sons, James Horace Beavers and Todd Douglas Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy B. Coggins (Darrell) of Dallas and David M. Beavers of Bessemer City; her granddaughters, Jessica D. Parker (Lonnie) of Gastonia and Holly D. Hovis of Lincolnton; her great grandchildren, Gavin P. Parker, Isaiah M. Hovis, Jaxon L. Parker, Tenley I. Hovis and Macey J. Parker; and her stepgrandson David Coggins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
