She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Snyder and Vera Snyder; her son Traywick Shane Smith; and her sister Cynthia Deloris Canipe. She is survived by: her husband Eddy Ivester; and her sons, Michael Smith (Kim) and Jason Mullinax (Cindy). She is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (1534 Rolling Meadow Ln, Gastonia, NC 28054).
