With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Carpenter (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2018 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. and Ella Schrum; her brothers, William Schrum, Jake Schrum and Charles Schrum; and her husband Kenneth Carpenter.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth L. Carpenter (Buddy) and Elizabeth A. Gordon (Libby Ann); her grandchildren, Jennifer Carpenter, Beth Bumgardner and Natalie Gordon; and her great grandchild Eliza Bumgardner. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
