She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Pinkney Avery and Ruth Brent Martin Avery; her husband Bruce Lamar Fox of Lincolnton; her son Jamie Fox of Walnut Cove; and her sister Judy Pruitt of Boger City.
