She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Nellie Pearl Devine Simmons; and her husband Danny Ray Smith. She is survived by: her children, Natalie Wise (Donnie) of Mooresville, Bunny Ingle (Mark) of Lincolnton, Chad Smith (Natalie) of Lincolnton and Brad Smith of Charlotte; her sister Shirley S. Parker of Maiden; and her grandchildren, Heather Beard (Dylan), Cora Knowles (Evan), Seth Smith, Megan Hallman (Daniel), Breyden Beddingfield, Brooke Beddingfield, Bryce Beddingfield, Evan Wise, Bailee Wise and Luke Wise.
