She was predeceased by: her parents, William Theodore and Maude Leonhardt Campbell; her husband Rayvon Harrison Mathis; her grandson William David Collins; and her brothers, Ray Campbell, Bobby Campbell and Rev. William Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Mathis of Lincolnton, Angela M. Collins of Lincolnton and Linda M. Gantt (Roger) of Vale; and her sister Helen Campbell Owens (Danny) of Lincolnton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
