He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Donald Stamey and Mary Lucille Grigg; and his brothers, Johnny Stamey and C. V. Stamey. He is survived by: his children, Donna Renee Stamey Jones (Glenn), Cindy Moretz (Mike) and Johnny Walter Stamey (Maelia); his siblings, Mackey Stamey (Freda), Chris Stamey (Teresa), Rita Martin (Daniel) and Brenda Hardin; and his grandchildren, Jackson Lail, Petyon Stamey, Addison Stamey and Shasta Oxendine.
