It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Houser (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dean Houser to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Houser and Essie Mosteller Houser; his wife Anita Shuford Houser; and his siblings, Hazeline Heafner, Frank, Palmer and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Marshall "Marty" Houser (Jennipher) of Lincolnton and Nicole Avery (Chad) of Lincolnton; his brothers, Bill Houser of Vale, Fred Houser of Vale and Donald Houser of Vale; his grandchildren, Heather Flynn, Niki Gilbert, Marshall Houser II and Trevor Houser; and his great grandchildren, Dailen Adams, Kendall Adams and Kaine Hunter.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pisgah Methodist Church (2582 Gastonia Hwy, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
