He was predeceased by: his parents, Kiser David and Bonnie Smith; his wife Beattie Scism Smith; and his son Kenneth William Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Bobbie Jane Morrison (Ronnie Elmore) of Lincolnton; his siblings, Fred Junior Smith of Lincolnton, Sadie Sue Stamey of Vale, Judy Joann Scronce (Daniel) of Vale and Barbara Ingle (Billy) of Vale; his grandchildren, Nathan Morrison (Rachel), Shawn Morrison and Joshua Beal; and his great grandchild Ayson Lee Morrison.
