He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ross Caskey of Lincolnton; his sister Susan Caskey Carpenter of Lincolnton; his nephews, Jason Michael Hartzoge (Brandy) of Lincolnton and Kyle David Carpenter of Lincolnton; his stepchildren, Matthew Kester (Cindy) of Hardin and Anna Kester Gilliland; and his stepgranddaughter Olivia Brannon.
