He is survived by: his wife Kay Davis Lowe; his son Thad Elliott Lowe (Ginger) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Matthew David Lowe of Lincolnton, Kelly Elaine Lowe Kinard (Bucky) of Lincolnton, Katherine Elizabeth Kinard of Changwon and Susannah Leigh Kinard of Lincolnton; his sister Nancy Lowe Rhyne (Richie Rhyne) of Lincolnton; and his nieces and nephews, Kris Carpenter (Amy), Jennifer Black (Wesley), Sharon Munden (Matthew), Mark Summitt (Jennifer), Joshua Chapman (Justus) and Laura Smith (Jeff).
