With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrel Franklin Devine of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrel Franklin Devine to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Craig Devine and Lillian Abernathy Devine; his daughter Tamera Devine; and his siblings, Donald, Jack, Joe, Dean and Catherine.

He is survived by: his wife Alene Beal Devine; his granddaughter Jessica Collins (Tyler); his daughter Laney; his grandson Justin Burgin (Maria); his great grandchild Bryceson; his daughter Christie Ouellette; his grandson Jeremy Jones; his great grandchildren, Caleb and Skylar; his sisters, Dot Williams (Gerald) and Patsy Alexander (Fred); and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078, or First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 735 Buffalo Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
