He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lineberger and Iva Cloninger Lineberger; his former wife Gloria Brotherton Lineberger; his wife Natine Drum Lineberger; and his siblings, Frank Lineberger Jr., Bobby Lineberger, Sherman Lineberger, Marion Lineberger, Blanche Lineberger, Gladys Story, Margaret Morris and Emily Bridges.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara L. Jolley (Pat) of Denver; and his grandson Patrick Jolley II (Stephanie) of Mooresville.
