He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Walker and Louise Carpenter Young; and his siblings, Harold Young, Larry Gene Young and Faye Youngblood.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tutherow Young; his sons, Wayne Young and Jeff Young (Regina); his grandchildren, Amanda Cox (Mark), Phillip Young, Cameron Hurst and Leann Chapman; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Rikard, Morgan Young, Masey Young and Cassie Rikard.
