She is survived by: her children, John Timothy Helms of Lincolnton and Tina Mullins (Freddy Dover) of Lincolnton; her siblings, James Hester of Lincolnton, Rosie Cooper of Lincolnton and Julia Land (Jimmy) of Crouse; her grandchildren, Ronnie Thompson (Tracy), Callie Thompson (Kristi) and James Landan Mullins (Cassie); and also Vergie Hester.
