He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Knight and Linda Parker Knight. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Carpenter Knight; his children, Jason Chapman (Pam) of Lincolnton, Michael Chapman (Cynthia) of Calabash, Dustin Chapman (Maria) of Lincolnton and Savannah Harris of Georgia; and his brother Roger Duncan (Gay Beam) of Lincolnton.
