It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles V. Rece (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rece and Ruth Rece; and his wife Billie J. Rece. He is survived by: his children, Charles Rece (Brenda) of Charlotte and Julia Smith (Joel) of Charlotte. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warrior Project.
