He is survived by: his wife Brenda Painter Fox; his sons, Chris Fox (Bridgette) of Lincolnton, Jeff Fox of Lincolnton and Shane Fox; his grandchildren, Alex Fox, Tyler Fox, Devin Fox, Amber Shay and Paizlee Fox; and his sister Vickie Byrd (Earnest) of Maiden.
