It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Mae James Leonard (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James, Jr. and Edna Jones James; her husband William G. "Bill" Leonard; and her brothers, Harold, Tommy and Don James.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Leonard of Sherrills Ford, NC, Andy Leonard (Rebekah) of Stanley, NC and Beth Wise (Don) of Vale, NC; her grandchildren, Stacey Leonard Crouse (Jeffrey), Evan Wise, Jared Leonard, Charlie Leonard and Ben Leonard; and her great grandchild Gracie Crouse. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
