She is survived by: her children, Deborah Beaver, Steven Mayhew (Tammy), Randy Mayhew and Kimberly Powell; her granddaughters, Mandy Schmitt (Craig), Brittany Sisk (Justin) and Jessica Carpenter (David); her great grandchildren, Eden Schmitt, Ollie Schmitt, Carley Carpenter and Lauri Carpenter; and her caregiver Lynn Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery (300 E Church St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
