He is survived by: his children, Anne Marie Sharpe and Carl Frederic Clanton Jr. (Buck); his brother John Sidney Clanton (Karen); his stepsons, James, Rick and Shawn Hayes (Sandi); and his grandchildren, Shantel, Myriah, Sierra, Travis, Austin, Samantha, Hannah, Levi, Nicky and Taylor.
