She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Loyd Biggerstaff, Jr. and Carrie Ledford Biggerstaff; her husband Billy Gene Howell, Sr.; and her sisters, Clara Sue Biggerstaff and Louise Lackey.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Howell (Carole) of Lincolnton and Holly Howell McGinnis (Greg) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, William Howell and Hannah Keister (Darren); and her stepgrandchildren, Devin Donnelly (Justine) and Matthew Donnelly. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hollybrook Cemetery (302 Hollybrook Ave, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
