It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin Aaron Punch of Lincolnton, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Abernethy Punch; and his nephew David Irby, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Darvin Earl Punch (Arlene) of Catawba; his wife Dawn Hoyle Punch; his sister-in-law Theresa Irby (David) of Lincolnton; his niece Jennifer Hilburn (Chad) of Charlotte; his great-niece Caya; and his great-nephew Cameron Hilburn.

Memorials may be made to the Appalachian Alumni Association, McKinney Alumni Center, ASU Box 32015, Boone, NC 28608.
