It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara (Bobby) Shrum Blanton (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wynn Shrum and Vivian Biggerstaff Shrum. She is survived by: her children, Wynn Blanton (Lauren), Mark Blanton (Jennifer), John Blanton and Barbara Frick; her grandchildren, John Frick (Jennifer), Sarah Frick Henderson (Josh), Meredith Blanton Gaines (Chris), Taylor Blanton Walker (Tyler), John Blanton, Jr. and Andrew Blanton; and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Leah, Tabor, Micah, Cora, Mark, Griffin, Stella, Coraline and Kendall.
