With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jarrett Towery (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jarrett and Alpla Self Jarrett; her husband Charles Esper Towery; and her children, Sharon Elizabeth "Sherry" and Charles Richard "Ricky".
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Powell (Jeff) and Krista Devine (Mike); her grandchildren, Misty Watt (Ryan), Jordyn Fletcher (Joe), Spencer Shelton (Hannah), Sydney Bass (Alex), Camryn Devine and Caroline Powell; and her sister Charlene Sisk. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
