She was predeceased by: her father Jessie Cornelious James; and her siblings, Bill Lanier, Allen Lanier and Loley Summey. She is survived by: her husband Leon Sisk; her children, Scottie Sisk (Deann) of Bessemer City and Shannon Sisk of Kings Mountain; her siblings, Roy Lanier of Lincolnton and Faye Heafner of Stoney Point; her grandchildren, Justin Gilleland, Jennifer Gilleland (Poohgirl), Brooklyn Freytag (Tristan) and Brandon Sisk; and her great grandchildren, Bentley Gilleland, McKenzie Gilleland and Hadley Rae Freytag.
