He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia Killen Paschal and John Gilbert Paschal; his wife Sylvia McCauley Paschal; and his siblings, Janie P. Thaxton, Martha P. Layland, Catherine P. Stroupe and Frank J. Paschal.
He is survived by: his children, John Paschal (Cathy) of Clayton, Jane Brumbeloe (Bob) of Fuquay-Varina and Jeff Paschal (Brenda) of Fuquay-Varina; and his grandchildren, Allyson Lee (Corey), Angela Standley (Jody), Rebecca Carter (Chris), Taylor Brumbeloe, Hayes Brumbeloe (Marissa), Tahlia Renn, Lindsey Paschal and Bryce Paschal. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Men at Lillington Baptist Church, 210 W Lofton St, Lillington, NC 27546.
