It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Wooten of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Wooten and Nannie Wooten; his wife Carole Jackson Wooten; and his brother William Allen Wooten. He is survived by: his daughter Laura Lee Byrd (Efrem) of Coats; his siblings, Julius Wooten (Frances) of Virginia Beach and Mary Elizabeth Phillips (Bob) of Israel; and his sister-in-law Jackie Wooten of Kinston.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
