He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Graham and Lela Inez Matthews Hudgins; and his sisters, Doris Hudgins, Iris McDonald and Eloise Hester.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hudgins; his children, Walter Graham Hudgins, Jr. (Laura) of Lillington, Timothy Hudgins (Patricia) of Lillington and Amanda Barnes of Lillington; his grandchildren, Westley Mitchell (Mehgan), Steven Hudgins (Jen), Selena Hudgins, Karly Eckey (Brandon Butler), Riley Gray (Edward Gray) and Savanna Stephens; his great grandchildren, Alexander, Kenley, Tyler, Broughton and Kaeson; his right hand man Billy; and his sister Audrey Pickard (Bill) of Raleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
