It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Petersen of Lillington, North Carolina, born in West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Holger Petersen and Else Hansen Petersen; her sister Winona Hamstra; her husband Elliott C. Raba; and her sons, Elliott Raba and Kevin Raba.
She is survived by: her sister Carla Smith of Florida; and her sons, Peter Raba (Suzanne) of Connecticut, Christopher Raba (Susan) of Lillington, Doug Raba (Lois) of Virginia, David C. Raba (Sherrie McNeill) of Broadway and Keith Raba (Monica) of Virginia. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Sandra loved flowers while she was able to enjoy them; however in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local food bank in her name.
