He is survived by: his wife Doreen Neely; his children, Monique Neely Black, Marcia Neely Hall, Melisa Neely Ragins, Wonona Langford French, Stephen T. Langford, Dante C. Hall, Samuel E. Neely, III and Michael Neely; and his siblings, Artis Neely, Donna Neely Tolbert, Beverly Neely Davis, Sharon A. Neely, Roberta Neely Horsley and Shayna Duncan. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
