He was predeceased by: his father Willie Ralph Wilkins; and his brothers, Henry, Jimmy and Ralph Wilkins. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hughes Wilkins; his children, April Stancil (Daniel), B. J. Matthews (Danielle) and Brandy Bertram (Darren); his brother-in-law Willie Hughes (Nancy); his nieces and nephews, Lisa Yarborough, Teresa English (Layne), John Wilkins (Shannon), Jay Wilkins (Nancy), Billy Wilkins (Melissa) and Kenny Thompson (Lisa); his sister-in-law Betty Wilkins; his grandchildren, Jay (Aly), Courtney (Thomas), Tyler, Raiden, Isaiah, Alana, Madison, Nathan, Aeden and Faith; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Carter. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and friends.
