He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hamilton and Louise Brown Hamilton; his brother Joseph "Joey" Edward Hamilton; his son-in-law Johnathan "John" Otis Patterson; and his nephew Michael Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Grace Stewart Hamilton; his daughters, Mary Lib Lasater (Joey) and Georgia Lee Patterson; his grandchildren, Hamilton Lasater, Leah Grace Patterson and Stewart Lasater; and his siblings, Donnie Hamilton (Exie), Jeannie Murray and Patricia Thomas (Harry).
