She was predeceased by: her father Walter Matthews; and her siblings, Larry Lee Matthews, Don Averitt Matthews and Vicky Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Derrick Byrd; her daughters, Raquel Jackson (Gary) and Christy Patterson (Curtis); her grandchildren, Jordan Angelo, Cody Jackson and Kendall Jackson; and her great grandchild Aaliyah Angelo.
