He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Ray Norris and Alice Faye White Norris; and his former wife Laurie Currin Norris. He is survived by: his wife Lord; his children, Shelley Andrews (Chase) of Goldston and Carson Ray Norris of Goldsboro; his brother Jimmy Ray Norris of Sanford; and his grandchildren, Elle Andrews, Conner Andrews and Bentley Norris.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cool Springs Methodist Church (2741 Cool Springs Rd, Broadway, NC 27505).
