He was predeceased by: his parents, Chesley Johnson and Arlie Wester Johnson; and his siblings, Aaron Johnson, John M. Johnson, Larry Johnson, Florine Penny, Jessie Cannady and Edith Mangum.
He is survived by: his wife Mable McDonald Mason Johnson; his children, David (Tammy) of Holly Springs, Neal of Lillington and Kim Redding (Donnie) of Lillington; his grandchildren, Ashton, Hayley, Parrish Redding, Landis Johnson, Joseph Redding and Ryht Johnson; and his sisters, Ramona Bethune of Bunnlevel and Doris Peebles of Lillington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
